Moreland City Council is excited to launch RenuWall - a public art program aimed at beautifying our streets with murals.
RenuWall is a program designed to address graffiti and related vandalism in Moreland with art. A key aspect of the program is the commissioning of Council-funded murals in graffiti hotspots.
Working with community, Moreland City Council have identified four walls in Brunswick and Coburg for the first stage of this program. The walls have great public exposure, high foot traffic and are frequently targeted by taggers.
Moreland City Council is delighted to launch an open Expression Of Interest, encouraging artists and artist collectives to propose a design for one or more of the sites. Any artist, arts organisation or collective can apply for the EOI process. The designs will be assessed by a panel of Moreland Council arts officers and members of the Moreland Arts Advisory Board.
