Remote Artist in Residency (rAiR)
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Australia’s cultural life – and specifically on artists, many of whom are facing unexpected income loss. In response to this, and the current environment, The City of Greater Dandenong is offering a remote artist in residency to an artist/s affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Remote Artist in Residency (rAiR) program will offer a paid opportunity for artist/s to develop their artistic practice, from their home or designated studio space. Outcomes from the RAiR will contribute to a group exhibition within Heritage Hill, alongside a digital exhibition/gallery.
Artists working in all mediums are invited to apply, including, but not limited to: visual artists, sculptors, painters, illustrators; writers, musicians or other performance artists, sound and or multimedia artists, video, installation or performance artists, craft or textile artists.
Applications close on 19th April 2020
