Malthouse Theatre’s Director in Residence program provides intensive career development and a salary to a theatre artist who identifies as female or non-binary. The principal objective is to embed the director within Malthouse Theatre’s core staff structure while providing a practice-based professional development opportunity. The Director in Residence position is generously supported by Craig Reeves.
Over 3 years, the Director in Residence will develop and direct work for the mainstage, be immersed in the day-to-day activities of the company and receive mentoring and support from the Artistic Director.
