The City of Darebin has entered an exciting time as our new festival model, FUSE Darebin, strengthens and grows.
FUSE is Darebin Council’s brand-new multi-arts festival, held in Autumn and Spring each year. It is designed to accommodate a range of access points for audience and practitioners, including signature Council events, an open registration program, commissioned work, and community engagement.
From celebrations that bring people together and new experiences that ignite ideas, to all manner of creative risk-taking and art making, FUSE reflects our uniqueness and embraces the best of what Darebin is and can be; a vibrant, inclusive, creative and contemporary city.
We are currently recruiting to fill a range of new roles for people who wish to be part of this exciting phase. There is more to follow, but for now, we are seeking to fill these roles:
Production Manager – Permanent full-time - Circa $90k per annum + super
Develop and provide all production management schedules and services. Collaborate with the Senior Producer and Producers to develop a framework for the delivery of the Darebin Event Permit program and implement best practice risk and safety processes that are used across the entire organisation. Provide technical support to enable safe and effective delivery of the Festivals and Events program.
Festivals Engagement Officer – Permanent part-time - Circa $72k per annum + super
Coordinate the development and implementation of effective marketing and communication strategies, including developing partnerships with grant makers, funders, businesses and sponsors, leveraging investment in the Festivals and Events Unit.
