Co-Designing Art Exhibition Experiences
This workshop explores strategies to maximise visitor engagement with art exhibitions. It promotes a collaborative approach to the creation of exhibition interpretive material, between exhibition practitioners and visitors.
In order to support meaningful insights and readings about artworks exhibited, it is essential that museum and gallery practitioners understand visitors' needs, desires and contexts.
Participants will actively engage in the collaborative design of interpretation strategies for First Site Gallery exhibition Living with Doubt, by Mita Chowdhury. The workshop is relevant for museum and gallery professionals and students, as well as regular exhibition attendees wanting to share their perspectives about art experiences that resonate with them.
Workshop on the 11th March 2020
