Bukjeh: Stories of Home, and of Having to Leave It
Bukjeh is an installation and a series of short performances created with people who have been forced to leave their homes, in response to children’s curious questions about refugees.
Installed in a disaster relief tent , Bukjeh brings together the imaginary and the real to create an intimate space. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to share their own questions, listen, and connect.
Artists will work together with people from the community to develop their stories into a short performance to be shared as part of Bukjeh.
We are looking for artists and actors of all ages, disciplines and levels of experience to take part.
