Coronavirus (COVID-19) Extreme Hardship Support Program - extended to October 2021
The Extreme Hardship Support Program can provide financial assistance, information and referrals to people living in Victoria who are experiencing significant hardship as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and who are unable to access other forms of Victorian Government and Commonwealth Government income support.

Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) - applications close 31 December 2021 (subject to allocation of funds)
The RISE Fund is supporting the arts and entertainment sector to reactivate. The program is targeting funding towards the arts and entertainment sector organisations to assist in the presentation of cultural and creative projects, activities and events to rebuild confidence amongst investors, producers and consumers.

COVID-19 Arts Sustainability Fund - Applications Close 31 May 2022
The Arts Sustainability Fund supports the arts and entertainment sector to continue its activities by providing necessary finance to plan a pathway for recovery from the effects of COVID‑19. Funding will support employment and contribute to rebuilding Australia's economy, as well as enhancing community wellbeing and access to cultural experiences across Australia.

The PPCA Performers' Trust Foundation provides grants to promote and encourage music and the music-related performing arts.

This is a lump sum payment to help workers unable to earn income due to a COVID-19 state public health order. This may involve a lockdown, hotspot or movement restrictions.

1000 x 1000: Crisis Cash - closed
1000 x 1000: Crisis Cash for Artists is a one-off emergency payment to support independent artists in the performing arts who have been significantly affected by COVID-19 in Australia and who do not have access to a financial safety net. Support is targeted at those who need it most.

The Victorian Government has recently announced rent relief grants for Victorians experiencing rental hardship as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

VICTORIA

Live Performance Support Program (Suppliers) Round Two - closes 8th September 2021
The Live Performance Support Program (Suppliers) Round Two provides grants to eligible contracted suppliers affected by the cancellation or postponement of events as a result of lockdowns and public health restrictions between 11:59pm on 27 May 2021 and 11:59 on 2 September 2021. Suppliers include those contracted to provide goods or services to a live performance event and may include performers, crew, technicians, venue owners and engineers.

Live Performance Support Program (Presenters) Round Two - closes 8th September 2021
This program is for live performance event presenters. A presenter is a person or organisation with the right to hold, cancel or re-schedule an event, collect the proceeds from ticket sales or re-locate a given live performance event. For any given event, this may be the producer, promoter, venue owner or artist promoting their own show. Applicants can apply for either $7000 or $5000 for one event, depending on losses or unrecoverable costs, and a further $5000 for a second event. There is a cap of $12,000 per applicant across the two rounds of the program.

The Victorian Government is providing a $450 COVID-19 Test Isolation Payment to support Victorian workers, including parents and guardians, who are required to self-isolate while you wait for the results of your COVID-19 test.

The VABT provides emergency financial assistance to members of our community, who have suffered a health crisis. Melton City Council is committed to supporting the local community through the global COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund is intended to provide support for the Melton community in responding to and recovering from the COVID-19 crisis.

Major Events Support Grant - closes 17th October 2021
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its significant impact on local businesses, community organisations, industry sectors and jobs, the South Australian Government announced the establishment of two funds to support businesses, jobs and community organisations, Business and Jobs Support Fund and Community and Jobs Support Fund.

2021 COVID-19 Business Grant - closes 13th September 2021
If you’re a business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation in NSW and you've been impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, you may be eligible for a one-off grant of $7,500, $10,500 or $15,000. The 2021 COVID-19 business grant provides support for businesses that experienced reduced demand or had to close due to the public health orders. It will provide businesses with cash flow support for the first 3 weeks of the Greater Sydney lockdown (26 June to 17 July 2021).

If you’re a business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation in NSW and you've been impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, you may be eligible for the 2021 COVID-19 JobSaver payment. JobSaver will provide cash flow support to impacted businesses to help maintain their NSW employee headcount from 13 July 2021.

If you’re a micro-business (small business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation with aggregated annual turnover between $30,000 and $75,000) impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, you may be eligible to apply for a fortnightly payment of $1,500 to cover business expenses for the duration of the Greater Sydney lockdown.

The aim of this package is to provide urgent financial support to performing arts venues, producers and promoters impacted by the cancellation or postponement of performances resulting from the NSW Government COVID-19 Public Health Orders from 26 June 2021.

NORTHERN TERRITORY

Arts and Culture COVID-19 Interruption Support - Closes 13th September 2021
Available to Northern Territory artists and arts workers to offset or recoup money lost due to cancelled arts and cultural activity due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions that came into force Monday 16 August 2021. The program supports individuals, groups and organisations who are ineligible for the Territory Small Business Lockdown Payment Program.

Territory Business Lockdown Payment Program - Available from 17th August 2021
A new round of the Territory Business Lockdown Payment has been established to provide immediate financial support to businesses during the current lockdown period. This payment is an amount of $1,000 and those eligible will need to submit a simple online application. Impacted businesses can now apply for the payment, even if they accessed a payment in the first round.

Business Hardship, Border Closure Critical Support Grant - closes 16th September 2021
This grant program will be targeted at businesses operating in the tourism, hospitality, arts and events, seafood and transport (hire car, coach tours) sectors, and other business that are impacted by the lockdowns and border restrictions that are in place in other states.

Event Ready Grant Program - closes 31st Jan 2022
Event Ready grants are available to organisers of new and existing events who are in the process of developing or have developed their COVID-19 Safety Plan(s); remain committed to attracting people from around Tasmania to their event; and are planning to welcome interstate visitors in the future.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Small Business Lockdown Assistance Grant - closed 31st August 2021
The Western Australian Government has announced another round of targeted Small Business Lockdown Assistance Grants to assist small businesses most impacted by the recent circuit-breaker four-day lockdown and interim restrictions. The grant program will provide $3000 cash flow support to small businesses in industry sectors most impacted and will be made available to eligible small businesses across Perth, Peel and regional Western Australia.

joint Queensland and Australian Government support package for Queensland businesses has been announced. The package includes support for non-employing sole traders and expands on support for eligible small and medium businesses, and large tourism and hospitality businesses. Successful applicants will receive the total value of the boosted grants ranging from $10,000 to $30,000 depending on the size of your annual payroll..
